Zelenograd Museum

Built in 1958 as a satellite city of Moscow, Zelenograd developed into a science city and the All‑Union centre of microelectronics; today it is one of the 12 administrative districts of Moscow. The museum was founded in 1969 on the initiative of locals to preserve the memory. Besides collecting and preserving exhibits, it maintains research and education. A unique local‑history programme introduces schoolchildren to the basics of regional studies. The museum also serves as a creative space, hosting exhibitions of works by Zelenograd artists, photographers and craftspeople, as well as showing items from its own collections.
