Sadovoe Koltso Museum
The museum traces its origins to 1971, when it opened on Mira Avenue as the People’s Museum of the History of Moscow’s Dzerzhinsky District. In 2012 it came under the city’s Department of Culture and received its present name. It became a branch of the Museum of Moscow in 2021. An updated permanent exhibition opened in 2025: two halls on the second floor present the history of the present‑day Meshchansky District, and a third hall tells the story of the Sukharev Tower. The ground floor houses two halls for temporary exhibitions. The mansion is a listed architectural monument — a typical example of 18th‑century Moscow classicism — built on the foundations of 17th‑century dwellings.
